Eagle Smart Cutting
This is the state of the art system developed by Eagle’s engineers. The result of its operation is important increase of the machine efficiency, what means decrease of production costs. The idea of system operation as well as the way to realize it, is company’s top secret. The system uses several the most up-to-date features of machine control, linking them for cooperation in a unique way, in real time with the software by means of higher mathematics.
This system includes, among others, the following functionalities:
This option enables to cut thin sheet metal without pierces. The cutting head during the cutting process is in continuous movement without any stop for piercing, which in important way increases the machine efficiency and shortens processing time by half in case of some cutting programs.
The use of suitable optics enables to deliver energy of defined characteristic (high density, suitable incidence angle of light) to the cut material, what enables to achieve high absorption of laser radiated energy by cut material. As a result of this an exceptionally fast cutting of thin materials is achieved, even over 100 m/min.
This function enables very high-speed downwards movements of the cutting head, while controlling its position. The function increases machine efficiency and speed of fusion penetration. This enables to really use at work the dynamics of linear motor of the "Z" axis.
Exceptional parameters and the highest efficiency are achieved due to integration of program of cutting head’s linear motor with control system and capacitive displacement sensor.
The automatic system, that enables high pressure cutting of stainless steels and aluminium alloys. In order to keep the cut edge free of the oxide film, the nitrogen is used as a cutting gas. The pressures of both cutting gases (nitrogen as well as oxygen) are controlled by program for different materials and different sheet thickness, and are displayed on a panel.
The system monitors in real time the piercing process and the very moment of piercing through the material. This system saves cutting time because it monitors and controls the piercing process, optimizes it and detects the moment of piercing through the material.
This is joining of cut parts with scrap material by means of microjoints. This function is frequently used during cutting of small parts from thin sheets to avoid parts falling from the table or their coming askew.
Suitably selected parameters of laser beam enable to carry out high quality cutting process in case of components with diameter smaller than thickness of the sheet metal.
